The Big O, five and a half, invented the word unpregnant on Sunday. He used it correctly and just brought it out of his own little head. I must say I'm quite impressed. Who's been teaching him prefixes?
I like that: "We have to learn how to talk incorrectly in order speak proper." (Still learning, are we?)
My oldest (she's almost six) still uses "sawn" instead of "seen"---as in "Dad, we've already sawn that show"---and yet she uses "apparently" in the right context---as in "Apparently, [sister's name] is tired." Go figure.
