Cranberry Juice: chilled or room temperature

.

It's astonishing that Lady Steed and I have been able to build a solid relationship when our opinions differ on some of the most vital issues of our age.

It's okay. I suppose I am. But you really should have a stated preference.

  7. Real cranberry juice is sour like lemons, and no one drinks it. (You can't even find it for sale).

What they call "cranberry juice" is always a cocktail with grape juice, apple juice, etc.

Au contraire, mon ami. These terms are defined by the FDA. Cocktail means it's loaded with sugar and it has to be chilled or it tastes awful.

It is true that it's very hard to drink cranberry juice uncut (though doable --- certainly a sipper). Specifically, I mean 100% juice mixes that are mostly cran, but cut, as you say, with apple or grape (and sometimes pear, but white grape is best, imho).

Whatever the lawyers call it, "cranberry juice" is always loaded with sugars, whether they come from Grapes or Corn.
