The Big O, five and a half, invented the word unpregnant on Sunday. He used it correctly and just brought it out of his own little head. I must say I'm quite impressed. Who's been teaching him prefixes?
I like that: "We have to learn how to talk incorrectly in order speak proper." (Still learning, are we?)
My oldest (she's almost six) still uses "sawn" instead of "seen"---as in "Dad, we've already sawn that show"---and yet she uses "apparently" in the right context---as in "Apparently, [sister's name] is tired." Go figure.
Ginta's leveling verbs, as in hit, "hitted", instead of the correct, "hit".

ReplyDeleteOh, I'm convinced there is. We have to learn how to talk incorrectly in order speak proper. If you follow.
Wow! Go Big O!
