.

Without Lady Steed I would probably be moping about all day. Watching Up together today reminded us of that as we wept through the whole dang thing.

Then we ate ice cream at Fenton's and cured ourselves with a sugar-and-fat high.

This is our tenth Bastille Day married making next year our tenth anniversary with many more to come.

I'm looking forward to it.

  2. Fenton's! *Sigh*

My husband and I did the same thing during that movie. Those first 15 minutes are a killer.

We'll have been married 20 years next February. Life only gets better.

    Happy anniversary!

  3. Those first 15 minutes are killer -- even sitting next to my wife, and even knowing that we're sealed to one another -- at the end of it -- wow.

No wonder he's cranky. I would be!

Congrats on the 9 years, and I have to say, one of the BEST days of the year to have an anniversary, I mean, you've got 61,538,322 people celebrating with you that day!

Nothing like celebrating a prison break to commemorate a marriage!

Lady Steed got her regular, a Black & Tan (hold the black, extra tan) and I tried the Cookie Connection. Which was delicious.

  7. I don't think the vanilla ice cream is the black, I think the hot fudge is the black. The tan is the caramel sauce. I replace the vanilla with Toasted Almond ice cream. Fenton's makes THE BEST Toasted Almond ice cream.
