It's true--it drives me crazy when he does this. There is no way for me not to correct him, I must do it. I have tried not to, but I just can't let him go one singing the wrong lyric--I am compelled to fix his error. I like to think I am being helpful.

ReplyDeleteThe thing is, when I'm doing it on purpose she doesn't mind so much. It's when my id starts changing words for no reason that drives her nuts.
Ah, the subconscious modification of lyrics to suit your immediate disposition without recognizably just cause can suggest certain neurological deficiencies... or not.
