Book tag

I saw this over at Peter's blog and decided to lift it.

    1. Pick up the nearest book (at least 123 pages).
    2. Turn to page 123.
    3. Find the 5th sentence
    4. Post the 5th sentence on your blog.
    5. Tag 5 people.

So. Sorry, but the nearest book was the school district's performance audit:

Approval of Measure J does not guarantee that the proposed project or projects in the [school district] that are the subject of bonds under Measure J will be funded beyond the local revenues generated by Measure J.

That totally sucked.

I tag you and you and you and you and . . . you, over there, in the corner.

  1. I will consider myself tagged. Thanks for the excuse to post about books. :)

  2. Prove that f is quasiconvex if and only if it is strictly convex, which holds if and only if it is pseudoconvex.

    (Nonlinear programming: Theory and Algorithms).

  3. "And now I, Jacob, spake many more things unto the people of Nephi, warning them against fornication and lasciviousness, and every kind of sin, telling them the awful consequences of them."

  4. .

    Awesome. All of them.

  5. I was relieved that the closest book to me was a serious one. I would have been mildly embarrassed if it had been my Spider-Man comic book.
