Well, for me, it didn't develop until adulthood--or at least I didn't make the connection till then. It was my first Christmastime as a missionary that I noticed every cold snap had the same effect.
Oddly, it didn't happen this last winter, as I endured Boston's snowiest season on record. Not sure if that's a fluke or the new normal. Ask me again six months from now.
