My short story "The Oracle" is now up on Nossa Morte, for those of you who don't follow Thnews. It's one I am, perhaps, inordinately proud of. And, fyi, Nossa Morte is perhaps the most beautiful online zine out there. You should go look at its skull-strewn pretty.
Anyway, here are the first two paragraphs:
- Abandoning the car had been a good idea. It was still cruising down the road and they were following it, slowly. He would have a great headstart. Running through the woods was smart—his best chance. And besides, now he was free. He could escape. He could be safe. He was safe.

Fascinating. I've never really read anything of similar subject matter, but it was naturally the chronology that made it completely unique. I liked it; you have a right to be proud.
