I can't find anyone who suggests that George Harold Sanders and Clarence Z. Kelley were inspired by Alexander Pope's The Rape of the Lock, but make the comparison yourself:

Sanders/Kelley:

I'm a little teapot,
Short and stout,
Here is my handle,
Here is my spout

Pope:

Here living Teapots stand, one Arm held out,
One bent; the Handle this, and that the Spout:
