I actually parsed the ending as ach ach ach a,
ReplyDeletewhich is quite disturbing, since it has so many painful aches and its repetition followed by an abrupt ending evokes some sort of bitter mechanical disaster, like a car accident or a train wreck. It made the whole medley seem like it was hurtling out of control.
cha cha cha is much more comforting, but that extra a really splinches the whole medley.
